This is one of the illustration I eliminated from a children's book (Jennifer Poulter author) I'm working on. This summer I'll draw and I'll draw and I'll draw.
Discarded sketches can sometimes take on their own story. :) This might happen with this character, indeed he seems to be looking at the storyboard pages!
