I missed day 29 but for the last day of SkaDaMO I thought to draw something that I love to follow.Ice skating is a great sport even if I can't do it:) It's been a great expereince to parteciate and loved to see others illustrators illustrations:)

SkaDaMo 2013 Day 3

Done this in the car of a friend this morning thinking at my boyfriend with me for this shopping day:)

IF: Rescue

This summer I hadn't a lot of times to draw and  to do colored illustrations but I like to do roughs everywhere I am, so for this week Illustration Friday topic "Rescue" I did this little mouse who is trying to rescue this little plant between garbages:)

Sketching

This week also I had only the time to do a sketch for Illustration Friday "Bounce",but I wanted to do something. The idea for bounce arrived in a strange way.Me and Andrea we were looking to an horror movie with a monster under the bed and we begun to lough thinking what could happen if a something heavy was bouncing on the bed....maybe not a easy situation for the monster.I don't think that after this night the monster will come back to this room:)

IF: Popularity_colored

Finally I finished the color version of this illo. Not sure about the final look but the funny of watercoloring is that sometimes they turn unexpected.

IF: Popularity

This is a quick sketch for this week Illustration Friday topic"Popular".When you are very popular it happens that you receive a lot of letters.A great thing for the lucky one but for a little postmouse can be a lot of works and not always so easy to accomplish.

IF: Dusty colored

This week IF topic is Journey.

I didn't menage to draw it but I finished

an old one that I think it can be good.

My little mouse is reading in an old library

and probably he isn't the only one that

travel with imagination while reading.

I want to wish all of you

HAPPY EASTER

IF: Dusty

This is my first 2011 post,I menaged to do

only a rough but happy to post on IF.

This week topic is "Dusty",as you can see

my little friend is a bookworm/bookmouse:)

probably you'll say : where is the worm?

The funny thing is that when I looked

in the dictionary I found out that in english

is a worm and but in Italy we use mouse:)

One last news is that I have a gallery in a nice

free site ,if interested click here.

IF: Trail

This is an old post that I menaged to colour.

Hope you like it:)

Parade in colour

Yestarday was my birthday, hurray for me :)

my first 40 years old... so as a gift to

everybody I decided to colour the illustration

I did last week for Illustration Friday.

Hope you like it.

IF: Parade

Here I am again after a difficult time of my life,

my grandmother died after Ester ,now quite a month

passed and I begin again doing all the things I left

and so I finally menaged to do a new rough for

Illustration Friday(hope to colur it before friday)

and again at work on Jennifer Poulter children book.

This week Ilustration Friday topic is "Parade"

IF: Poise

This week illustration friday topic is Poise

I did this illo last week during a moment of

relax and when I saw this week topic I thought

it could be quite good. When I did it I was thinking

about something I saw when I was little,I was on

holiday in a country house and one morning I saw

a little mouse drinking milk from his tail after he

had put it in a milk bottle. It was so cute.

Thanks to everyone for the nice words last week,

I'll try soon as possible to colour all the roughs I did

IF: Contained

Watercolour
Watercolour and digital

This week Illustration friday topic is "Contained"
I haden't much time to do it but I wanted to do
something in watercolour but when I saw it scanned
I wasnt' very happy with it so I used photoshop on it.
I don't know wich is better,I'll let you decide.
About my interpretation of the word I imagined a little
mouse trying to fish the moon that is contained(this is
what he thinks) in a little lake near his house .

IF:Voices

This will be my last rough for this year,I wasn't sure

to menage to do this week Illustration Friday topic

"Voices",even if I had the time to draw only a rough.

Talking with Andrea we thought to a little mouse

who think that probably somewhere in the galaxy

there is another little mouse trying to hear voices

from out of space .

And thinking about voices we want to wish you all

MERRY CHRISTMAS

and a joyful

HAPPY NEW YEAR

IF: Routine

This week topic is Routine

This is the last week of August and we haven't finish yet

to paint our house ,so we thought to use an old image we

did in 1997(watercolors for the background and paint on cel

for the mouse),how many years...don't you think is a

delightful routine the tea time?

IF: Detach

This week Illustration Friday topic is : Detach

Our little here forgot to detach the rope,so he detached

all the wooden fence.

We are still finishing works in our house so we don't know

if we'll menage to finish our illustration for this week,

but anyway we did the rough hoping to colour it

before the end of the week.
